It couldn't be any busier here at ClearView Press, Inc! As July draws to a close, we are proud to offer two new books! Both are available now in the Bookstore, and both have shiny new Spotlight pages!

Bearding the Lion that Roared by Ann Marie O'Roark, PhD, ABAP, Editor, is a compilation of the works of Harry Levinson, regarding his ideas on organizational consulting psychology. Heavy reading, but Ann Marie makes it easy, straight-forward and worth the time.

Writing Is Easy, our second summer release, comes from the minds of the Rogues Gallery Writers. These four up-and-coming authors deliver new works of fiction, then offer insights into how the works came to be. Additionally, all four member of the Rogues Gallery Writers talk about writing, creating characters, developing plots and serve as inspiration for authors searching for their own path to publication.

In our Spotlight, Rebekah Hunter Scott makes news by getting her book excerpted by American Baby magazine. Also, Ann Marie O'Roark compiled and edited the upcoming book Bearding the Lion that Roared. The Rogues Gallery Writers' book, Writing is Easy should be available for sale by August 2010. In the wings is The Writer's Life by Michael Ray King, who has also posted new words on the President's Page.

Additionally, plans are being settled regarding the publication of two books in the coming months! Writing is Easy is a collaborative effort by the writers of the Rogues Gallery Writers. Bearding the Lion that Roared is a psychology book geared toward students of the discipline, but anyone with an interest should definitely take a look- you might be surprised! Rebekah H. Scott's book, Motherhood Is Easy...as long as you have nothing else to do for the next 50 years... has hit the shevles (so to speak)! On April 25th, Rebekah and friends gathered to celebrate the arrival of the first official copies of her wonderful book. Shortly after, on May 1, 2010, Rebekah held a book signing to celebrate the launch of Motherhood Is Easy! We've dedicated a page here at ClearView Press, Inc. for these fantastic events, and appreciate Rebekah sharing these images of her and her family and friends.

Scott, ClearView Press, Inc. is proud and pleased to present its newly-redesigned web site! We examined our content, settled on a clear, easy-to-read format and welcome you in!

On this page, you will find the latest goings-on at ClearView Press, Inc., including contest announcements (and winners), forthcoming books, author and publisher appearances in local and national media outlets, and other activities we're sure you'll find of interest. With each topic we will post relevant links, some deeper into our home page, others to the pages of our friends and associates.

Additionally, under the Spotlight tab, you'll find the author or book or event we feel deserves our primary focus. This month, the Spotlight falls on Rebekah Hunter Scott and her forthcoming book, Motherhood Is Easy...as long as you have nothing else to do for the next 50 years... Links include access to Rebekah's biography, her blogspot and of course our Bookstore page, where you can preview this humorous and entertaining book before placing your order- in this case, pre-order, as the book doesn't officially become available until May 1st.

We're excited about the changes coming to ClearView Press, Inc. Our ambitious schedule includes a new bookpublication every month. This will certainly keep us hopping! But when you love well-written and entertaining books of all shapes and sizes, in a wide variety of genres, this seems less like work and a lot more like pure, unadulterated fun!

And following close on the heels of our July release comes a work of fiction with inspirational commentary from the authors. Writing Is Easy showcases work by the Rogues Gallery Writers, four young authors slowly but certainly making a name for themselves in the world of publication: Rebekah Hunter Scott, Michael Ray King, Jeff Swesky and Tracy McDurmont. Explore some of their original short works, the motivations behind the writing and read how these four answer questions on topics ranging from writers groups, character development, plot and staying positive while navigating the waters of this whole "writing thing" in general.

A work aimed at the newbie, the seasoned pro and any level of author in between, Writing Is Easy offers insight, direction and hope for anyone looking to break into the world of the published author, those already there in search of fresh ideas or reminders of the hows and whys they've accepted the mantle of authorship.

The Spotlight this month fall on Ann Marie O'Roark's compilation of psychologist Harry Levinson's work in the world of organizational consulting.

Bearding the Lion that Roared explores Mr. Levinson's decades-long contribution to the study of organizational assessment and intervention. This volume of work, assembled and edited by A.M. O'Roark, Ph.D., APAB, explores the methods and motivations behind the diagnosis of organizational and managerial pathology. A heavy read to be sure, but informative and insightful as well.
