ClearView Press, Inc.
Q: What do you mean by "co-op"
publisher? A: Cooperative
publishing is a way for small presses and authors to get
together and produce a product (book) at a fraction of what
it costs the "big houses". Traditional publishers make
much of the fact that it often costs them $100,000 or more
just to get a new book published. Co-op presses submit
the author should have enough confidence in his/her book and
marketing skills to put up some of the initial set up money.
Both the author and publisher then have a vested interest in
the book selling. Q: I
noticed you are an "author friendly" publisher. What
does that mean? A: We at
ClearView Press Inc. feel that publishers over the centuries
have taken advantage of authors. Our commitment is to
bring as much royalties to the author as possible.
Q: How do I submit my
manuscript? A: ClearView
Press Inc. does not accept hard copy manuscripts. A query
process for manuscripts is lined out in our
Submission Guidelines page. |
