Submission Guidelines
The process can be long and hard, and requires dedication and commitment from both the publisher and the author. This is true at any publishing house. Here at ClearView Press, Inc., we will work diligently by your side to help you create the best possible product.

Query Guidelines
The following guidelines are important. Failure to adhere to them will cause your query to be deleted.
- ClearView Press, Inc. accepts e-queries and hard copy mailings. (CVP does not provide a return process for your manuscript, so do NOT send the original.)
- Your email's subject line needs to grab our attention.
- The body of your query should be roughly one page in length, and include the following items:
- a one paragraph pitch of your book
- a one paragraph "about the author" blurb
- a one paragraph explanation of the projected niche market to which the book will be sold
- complete contact information
Do not attach an entire manuscript!
If we like the query, we will send instructions as to what we want next.

Manuscript Guidelines
Use the following guidelines when submitting a manuscript upon our request (unsolicited manuscripts go straight into the recycle bin):
- We request manuscript submissions to be in digital format – sent via e-mail, Drop Box, CD disk, flash disk, etc.

- Hard copy manuscript submissions (from 1-50 pages only) will incur additional fees to prepare in digital form. No hard copy manuscripts of more than 50 pages will be accepted.
- We do provide in-house limited editing, however, we recommend that all manuscripts be edited professionally before delivering the final draft. (We can provide the names of professional editors with whom we have worked).
- Professional in-house editing will incur additional fees.
- We accept manuscripts in MS Word (any version), WordPerfect, and .pdf files. We also accept Adobe InDesign files.
- Manuscripts should be laid out and page numbered according to their respective software functions.
- All graphics (images, pictures, photos, tables, charts, etc.) whether in color or in black/white are REQUIRED to be in 300 dpi resolution and CMYK color mode. If unfamiliar with these requirements, CVP offers graphic manipulation work at additional charges.
- Fees for optional work on submitted graphics will be negotiated.
